Great Cultural Competition On the Occasion of the 18 th Anniversary of Demise of Imam Khomeini (PBUH)

On the occasion of the 18 th anniversary of heavenly departure of Hazrat Imam Khomeini ( PBUH), founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the champion of the oppressed people of the world, an essay writing competition is due to be held all over South Africa on the following issues:

1-Religious, cultural and political personality of Imam Khomeini (PBUH)

2- Political viewpoints of Imam Khomeini (PBUH)

3- Imam Khomeini and democracy

4-Imam Khomeini and the oppressed

5-Imam Khomeini and the unity of Muslim Ummah

6-The testament of Imam Khomeini and its impact in the global scene

7- Different dimensions of the testament of Imam Khomeini (PBUH)

8-Imam Khomeini and the Ulema of the Muslim world

9- Imam Khomeini and Ijtihad (becoming versed in theology)

10-Imam Khomeini and Islamic government

11- Imam Khomeini and the youth

12-Imam Khomeini and dynamic Fiqh (religious jurisprudence)

The articles should meet the following requirements:

A-They should be typed in the Microsoft Word Document, minimum in three pages and maximum in six pages

B- They should be documented as far as possible

Valuable prizes will be awarded to 18 writers whose articles have been judged as among the best entries

The articles should be sent to the Secretariat of the Competition no later than 29 May, 2007 to the following address:
